Michael is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist whose clinical practice focuses on complex and persistent musculoskeletal pain issues in adolescents and adults.
Michael previously worked with Bodylogic Physiotherapy before moving to Perth’s northern suburbs and starting Quest Specialist Physiotherapy. He has also held previous appointments at Curtin University and alongside the Spinal Surgery and Pain Management teams at Royal Perth Hospital.
Michael is passionate about current evidence informing patient care, clinical practice and public knowledge. Although persisting pain and chronic injuries form a large part of his work, he puts a big emphasis on providing appropriate early intervention for all pain issues and injuries to prevent transition into persistent and disabling pain. For this reason he is highly sought out for second opinions.
He works closely with GPs, pain specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists and other health care professionals to provide collaborative patient care to private and workers compensation patients.
Michael is also involved in clinical education of physiotherapists and other health professionals at undergraduate, postgraduate level and in the private sector. He is currently a clinical educator to Curtin University Masters of Physiotherapy students at Quest Specialist Physiotherapy.
